EasySBC is designed as a zero-cost essential first layer of voice security for SMEs. With the newly established partnership, EasySBC can be utilised with Hoiio’s SIP trunk offering to SME customers, providing small and medium sized businesses with a unique, freemium security technology. This will allow them to fully reap the benefits of VoIP without opening the business up to risk of cyber attacks.

Umair Khan, Partnership Program Manager at Hoiio, comments: “To date, we have offered SIP trunking solutions to customers ranging from medium sized companies to large enterprises, however, due to the high cost of SBC solutions, most SME customers would not use a SBC. The partnership with VoipSec means that our customers are now able to gain all the benefits of VoIP without compromising on security.”

As VoIP grows in popularity, organisations continue to benefit from the cost savings and flexibility it enables, but too many are failing to secure this new technology against cyber threats. Khan continues: “The partnership with VoipSec will give customers an opportunity to download the freemium version of EasySBC. This can then be built upon with further security feature modules in the VoipSec cloud, overcoming the barriers of cost and complexity.”

“At the beginning of the process, VoipSec tested the compatibility of EasySBC with all our SIP trunk services,” concludes Khan. “Because EasySBC works hand in hand with all these services, we are delighted to announce the partnership with VoipSec whereby customers can enjoy an affordable and secure VoIP solution.”
