That’s right! There’s no need to rub your eyes because you are reading things right and neither is this a gimmick.

Exclusive to Hoiio fans, we will be giving away 500,000 FREE minutes per month for July and August. We are excited and would really like to have all of you enjoy this one-of-a kind privilege. Hence, for fair usage, we will be allocating 1,000 free minutes to each user to ensure that there are enough free minutes to go around for everyone!

This is how we’re giving you free Hoiio to Hoiio minutes -

  • Make free calls anytime of the day
  • Make free calls with Hoiio to any other Hoiio registered number, anywhere within Singapore
  • Talk as long as you wish*
  • Make as many calls as you wish*

All you really need to do now is to invite as many of your contacts to sign up with Hoiio to enjoy your free calls!

How to make absolutely free SG-SG calls with Hoiio:

  1. Invite your friend to sign up a Hoiio free account (see below on how to invite)
  2. Call your friend using your Hoiio account.
  3. Talk as long as you want, its free*

How do I invite my friends?

Invite your friends to visit www.hoiio.com or to Apple’s App Store if they have an iPhone

OR

If you prefer, you can also send them an SMS absolutely free.

Go to your Hoiio app » Select More » Select Invite Friends » Enter your friend’s mobile number » Press Invite.

They will receive a link to register and install Hoiio.

FAQs

*Terms & Conditions

  1. The total free minutes is capped at 1 million minutes for local Hoiio-to-Hoiio calls and will be distributed into 500,000 minutes in Jul 2010 and 500,000 minutes in Aug 2010.
  2. Free minutes are applicable only to registered Hoiio users in Singapore.
  3. With implementation of our fair usage policy, each registered Hoiio user will be allocated a maximum cap of 1,000 free minutes. There is no limit to the number of calls made however each call is capped at 60 minutes.
  4. Users will be charged at the usual rate of 3.8cents/min for local calls upon full consumption of the 500,000 minutes per month or 1,000 free minutes, whichever comes first.
  5. SMS and Hoiio calls made from or to Hoiio Business registered numbers are NOT part of this campaign.
  6. Hoiio reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, from time to time without prior notice.

    Hoiio-to-Hoiio means you (a Hoiio user) calling a friend (another Hoiio user).

    Nope, this promotion applies to only Singapore local calls.

    Hi Predatory_sg, you are right! There will be no extra credits awarded. Instead, when you make a Hoiio-to-Hoiio local call from now till 31 Aug, your call transaction will display “No Charges”. Try making a call now!

    Hi Tinkohsn, the person you are calling does not need to be login to Hoiio. As long as the party has successfully registered and have his/her mobile number verified with Hoiio, you can make free calls to them anytime of the day.

    Hi Ian, In order to escape roaming charges, you should be on Wi-Fi when making Hoiio Internet Calls.
